Good to know
A few things owners often ask. Can't see your question? Just get in touch.
For the safety of all our guests, every dog must be up to date with their core vaccinations and the kennel cough (bordetella) vaccine. Please bring proof of vaccination at drop-off.
Absolutely — we'd encourage it. We're happy to show you around so you and your dog can meet us and see the paddocks and accommodation. Get in touch to arrange a time that suits.
We strongly recommend bringing your dog's usual food for the whole stay — keeping them on their normal diet helps avoid digestive upset. If you'd prefer, we can provide our own standard food, though a change of diet won't suit every dog. We're also happy to feed raw, as we have freezer facilities for safe storage.
Please give us feeding instructions and portion sizes at drop-off, along with any medication. You're very welcome to bring favourite treats, bedding or comfort items to help your dog settle in.
Sociable dogs love our supervised group play in the secure paddocks. We assess every dog and group them by temperament and size, and quieter dogs can always have a calmer routine.
We welcome senior dogs — but their health and wellbeing come first. Owners are responsible for judging whether their dog is healthy and comfortable enough for a boarding stay, and we'll also carry out our own assessment on arrival.
If we feel an elderly dog may struggle with the boarding environment, or needs a level of care beyond what we can safely provide, we may be unable to accept the booking — a decision always made with your dog's best interests at heart. Nervous dogs are very welcome too; just tell us about their needs and we'll help them settle with calm spaces and extra reassurance.
Yes — we can administer basic medications during your dog's stay, provided clear instructions are given at drop-off. This includes routine oral medications such as tablets, capsules or liquids.
Unfortunately we're unable to accept dogs that require vaccinations, injections, or more complex medical care while boarding. If your dog has any medical needs, please discuss them with us before booking so we can confirm we're able to look after them safely.
Yes. We're licensed under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (Scotland) Regulations 2021 — our licence number is in the footer — and we're fully insured for your peace of mind.
Yes — our property is fully secured with both internal and external CCTV cameras and a monitored alarm system. These measures help ensure the safety and security of all dogs in our care, as well as providing peace of mind for owners while their pets are staying with us.
